I've had a fascination with Asian/Korean culture when I 12/13 years old but then it ended. At least the intense obsession. Always been somewhat obsessed with east Asian/southeast culture and tradition and attracted to the women but not to the point where it consumed my entire life. In middle school, was also obsessed with two asian individuals but knew it strange to be preoccupied with them and ended up feeling sad when we went to two different high schools. Never told family about them but they knew I was into Asian culture in general/wanting to go there someday but didn't think anything of it.
Other than obsessions I had in the past knowing they were blown out of proportion I'm an extreme introvert, enjoy being alone most of the time but fill my time with other things not just one thing. I know when something is socially appropriate/inappropriate, etc but choose not to socialize out of introversion and have questioned things in life that didn't . Is Aspergers mainly about having a history of obsessions? Is it introversion with OCD/attachment disorder or what? |

That's hard to say. We all have certain symptoms of autism, but that doesn't mean you really are autistic.
Besides, there are differences between people diagnosed with autism. Some people have mainly problems with change , others have more problems on social area. If you feel like it affects you in daily life, you can go to a therapist, specialized in autism? There will be quite a lot of tests to see if you have autism. Good luck ! ![]() |
