Dear Lionheartt,
I'm sorry that nobody cares. That's heartbreaking. I've been helped a lot with my mental health by reading psychology self-help books. Not sure this approach would be helpful in relation to Autism though since I am not a doctor or medical professional. I sure hope you find things that help you though! Sincerely yours, Yao Wen |

Hi Lionheartt,
I'm sorry you feel like nobody cares or nobody will believe you. My husband is on the autism spectrum and it is a very real experience with many challenges. Some people do not understand autism and are not knowledgeable about the struggles. Hoping you can talk to others on this forum and get some helpful advice... Best wishes, t. |

Dear Lionheart. Some people do care - we do.
Its hard to feel like no one does when your seeking to find help and for whatever reason your thwarted in your efforts. Is there an Autism Support group or phone line in your area? or state. Perhaps such an organization may be able to advise as to free or low cost with a sliding scale suitable support people so you could widen your circle of supportive people in your world perhaps. Take care. |

There sometimes are therapy services that cater to lower income people or clinics that have sliding scales if you live in a more rural area though you may not have much in the way of choices. We need a Universal Health Care System in the US what we have now is just leaving far too many people behind.

So Sorry that you're struggling. i agree with all the other wise and wonderful posters and their absolutely wonderful suggestions. Please do try to see if there any alternatives near you that you can actually afford and perhaps try to see if there are some self-help books or others resources. Sending many safe, warm hugs to BOTH you, @Lionheartt, your Family, your Friends and ALL of your Loved Ones! Keep fighting and keep rocking NO MATTER WHAT HAPPENS, OK?!
