Hello,
I just arrive and am touring around the place. I am self diagnosing myself as autistic and am in the market for tips, tricks, advice, related folks and further insight on life!
I have been looking into getting a diagnosis...rather a lot o gold. So any thoughts around pros and cons of a diagnosis are interesting as well.

@Salix13 welcome to MSF. I am glad you joined the community.

Self diagnosis is tricky because even professionals are challenged to do that accurately.

My advice is when in social situations, imagine you are posting in the forum to that person and then say what you would write. @CANDC

Welcome! I agree with CANDC that even professionals tend to be challenged to diagnose accurately.

Good advice re social situations!
