hello,
i am rainbow_fishB and i have been diagnosed with psychosis sort of. They are not sure if it is actually psychosis as i confuse people and find it hard to talk to people. But my mum always thought i was autistic before that, and i have read that autism is common in people with psychosis. Right now i am completely mute because my voices will not let me talk, but when i can talk, often i dont, i just make noises. I struggle to understand others. I cant really express how i feel all the time in ways others can understand. I get very frustrated if things ore out of routine, and i can easily get upset by short conversations when people dont understand me or i dont understand them and when this happens i know i act quite childishly. I need to be in routine, people make me nervous, i like being alone, i find others irritating. When i was little i enjoyed playing pretend games but only on my own, i hated others joining in. I get very caught up in little things and dont pay much attention. I feel overwhelmed by lots of ordinary everyday things. I cant really explain it, sorry, but does this sound like autism or aspergers? By the way, i am fifteen years old. Thankyou for any replies, Rainbow_fishB |

Hi Rainbow
I read and replied to your other post about selective mutism as you remind me so much of my 15 year old daughter, She has selective mutism and was recently diagnosed with Aspergers, I would certainly look into autism as mutism is often linked with autism. Just this morning actually we had a very hard time with her but I don't want to take over your thread but feel free to send me a message anytime ![]() |
