We're right now doing this observation on our son to make the conclusion whether he's got Tourettes on top of his AS and 'low ability of impulse control'.
It's really not a pleasant thing to write down all the things he's doing and all the bad "naughty" sexual words he's blurting out.
Thursday we will present our observation to the psychologist and special educationist.
So we'll see what will follow after that.

Good luck

For me, the more I know about my son and his diagnoses, the more I can help him...although my heart breaks for him a little bit each time something "new" is added on.

Thank you for thinking of me, earthmama!

yes, we need to know even though it can sting quite a bit inside a mother's heart.
we want what's best for our children and to give them as much guidance and help as they need to lead a positive and good life now and in the future... so yes... we need to know.

I'm very glad you've support with your son especially at his age. Something you mentioned about your son, he reminded me of Luke.... not sure if you have read a book for AS.. one of my favourite books is Freaks, Geeks & AS - A User Guide to Adolescence wrote by Luke Jackson, 13 years old and AS too. He's very funny, positive and gifted too also good role model for young AS people and reasurance parents too.
Thanks for this!

lou99pop... I've not heard of that book. I live in Sweden so I mostly read books written by Swedish authors. Thank you for the tip though... I might try to get a hold of the specific book you mentioned.

Thank you for showing interest in me and my son!
