Hey, just wonderring, how many here would be interested (or dare) being part of a secret AvPD group on facebook? We could just call it something random (I assume most people in here dont want to join a group called avoidant personality disorder for everyone on facebook to see it
 ) Think it could be nice for some people to maybe try? to have at least some contact with real people

I think there's a way you can make the groups so secret that no one on FB but those who are invited can see it. I don't know how to do that, though.
I would actually be very interested. I'm a social butterfly online. Granted, I still have that 'avoiding confrontation' thing about myself (though that's more related to the cyberbullying I went through, heh).. but online, I can socialize more freely than in person/on the phone/etc. I'd likely join. It might be one of my quieter groups, but that'd be nice sometimes.  ETA: Also, to be honest, it would be the ONE mental health support group I wouldn't care about my friends seeing. I'm not open with them about my eating disorder or my mood disorder. But every one in my life knows about my social issues. Most of them knew before I did. So, heh.

Not the biggest enthusiasm for the group, go figure! Nice you want to join Bronze, but I think a group of 2 would be very boring group

I'd love to! However, there are at least already two groups (which I'm both a member of :B), and they're both closed groups, not secret though. I'm open to joining any secret group though.

I dont think its good idea, but its just me...People with AvPD is sensitive people and any critics or comments might set them off.
and here you dont have to share your identity but in facebook i think that more personal, i dont know sounds like not good idea to me but is just me

I think it's a good idea for people who want to join! I have never had a facebook, so I don't think I'll be making one, but alas.
