fear of the future.
I always lived with many fears, and now I'm afraid I could not accomplish my dreams.
unfortunately, I am a person who thinks very negatively about everything that happens. really do not know how to relax, rarely stop to think about my problems, how to stop thinking about the problems left me vulnerable to these problems.
For example, afraid of assault in the street and can not imagine myself relaxed on the street because of it.
When I try to meditate, I remember how people look at me because I'm shy and nervous (because of avoidant personality disorder) and this makes me very sad.
Today, my biggest dream is to have inner peace, even if the problems are many.

Thank you for the post. I can relate... I only wish I could help. Fear is my daily companion, may it be about the future or anything else for that matter. As for inner peace - that is my one goal in life. I have not lost faith in reaching it ... yet. I hope you will find what you are looking for, because living in fear is so damaging!

Keep going! You're on the right path and sometimes it takes a long walk before we feel like we've gotten anywhere.

And remember that although you think and believe that other people are looking at you unfavourably because they can see how shy and nervous you are, it may not be the case at all. In any case, some people find those traits attractive and you wouldn't be able to tell that by looking at them either. Some may be able to relate to you because of it and would want to be your friend (but may themselves be too shy to ask).

Start carrying bear mace and a butterfly knife when you're in the street so you can feel more secure. Then you will know that if anyone messes with you you can mace em then stab em while they're blinded (but only stab them if the mace doesn't stop them).
