Do you procrastrinate a lot? Why do you think a person can have the tendency to procrastinate?

With some things I procrastinate. I don't think that's part of AvPD though, just human nature.

When I procrastinate it's usually due to over-analysing something. So I won't do something because I will think about all the possible choices and outcomes of action, the pros and cons of each, and go round and round thinking about this rather than doing anything.
Thanks for this!

Yes, but then why does it seem there is always time to do something over when there had not seemed to be enough time to do it right in the first place?

I'm not Allan but I will dare to reply. I think it's a kind of lie we say to ourselves.
It's like our mind is always thinking about the past or the future but not the present.
When I procrastinate a social situation, it's mainly because of fears. I anticipate all kinds of negatives outcomes.

I don't know why I procrastinate, TBH. I can understand why I procrastinate unpleasant tasks, but I even procrastinate the things that I enjoy doing.
