Every once in a while it smacks you in the face that AvPD has some benefits.
For example, no one with AvPD will be able to relate to the first line of this video.

Yes!!! This is so beautiful and so scary in the same time and so risky but the result is worth it because it starts to fee real.
But some of us need to be sure they we'll be accepted and there is this huge fear of ridicule so we play safe, don't go there, but then we feel disconnected and disappointed.
I've always had this huge thirst for vulnerability, but so many people think that what helps is to reply in these "you are tough, we are all tough" way, so I did the same and it's a continuous vicious circle of disappointment and superficiality.
Thanks for the link, it was really eye opening.
