I started the new year right by resuming my exercise program, a program which had been abandoned this past April. I started slowly Sunday with only two miles to begin. The plan is to run two weeks, two miles per day, three weeks, three miles per day, etc. In other words, I want to progress and progress slowly in a manner that can be sustained over the long term. My ultimate goal is to train until I am able to complete a marathon while I am 50 years old. This will have to occur before June 6th because I'll turn 51 that day.
