After my diagnosis earlier this year (result of 6-week hypermanic episode with three hospitalizations), I am slowly but surely rebuilding my life. After work dismissal, I asserted my rights and was reinstated in my teaching position. My marriage, which took the hardest blow, is still intact. My kids are doing well. Every day feels a little more "me" - stable on meds and doing my best.

Hello kmclghln: Glad to hear things are on the up-swing for you.
 I see this is your first post here on PC. So... welcome to PsychCentral!  I hope you find the time you spend here to be of benefit.
