And I don't know if its a side effect from having the illustrious distinction of having BP 1 and Borderline, or if its something else, like the one medication that I'm on just not being enough to keep everything at bay. If I didn't know better, I'd say that in the course of a day, I've met damn near every requirement of a manic epsidode, flanked on either side by a mild to moderate depression. I don't know what to do. All I know is that it sucks. All I'm on is 300 mg Seroquel XR, and I've never done a run of the gamut THAT fast. And to start off a weekend at that. I don't know what to do. There is no one on call where I am seen. Help? Please?

All I want is some words of encouragement, or maybe someone who's flipped back and forth like this before. Anything? I feel so freaking alone. I'm scared.

Sweetpea,

I am sorry that you are going through this, especially on a weekend when no one is available to help you. I would just stay the course with what they have told you to do and hang in there. I'll be thinking about you.

I'm sorry you are going thru this. Do you have any friends or people who support you that you can call & talk to?
When I run pole to pole, I'm in a mixed state, but I have a friend that when she runs pole to pole she is ultra rapid cycling. So I don't know exactly what is going on with you, but it's important that you talk to a human being. If you don't have anyone you know that you trust, then can you call a hotline? I think I have a hotline number you can call. 1-800-273-TALK. It's a suicide prevention hotline, but it's really for anyone who is having an emotional crisis.
I hope it helps. Good luck

((((((((((((sweetpea))))))))))))))

How are you doing today, sweetpea?

300mg of Seroquil is not a very high dose. Maybe a phone call to your pdoc for a med adjustment would be a good idea?
