To help me better understand what the possible side effects are surrounding biploar medications, I was wondering if you all would mind listing what you take or what you have taken in the past and what the side effects of that med was for you? Thank you very much.

I think everyone may be intimidated by your question. I too have been on so many meds it's hard to recall them all. I know all SSRIs have made me irritable, tired, impulsive, and/or weak. I know that Trazodone made me feint. Otherwise, Wellbutrin gives me the energy to function throughout the day, but when I was first starting it I got impulsive and agressive, but that wore off. Effexor, which I'm still on but am not convinced it's helping, made me tremor, especially my hands when I first started it and when they doubled my dose. Plus I was kind of nervous. That too seems to have worn off. Seroquel has caused no side effects that I can tell. I'm up to 75mg but only using it for sleep at night. Hope this helps.

Gee, I didn't mean to make anyone feel intimidated. I'm just trying to learn is all. Sorry if my question came across in an intimidating way.

Thanks for the responses I've gotten so far and I sure hope others will come along and respond as well. In the mean time I'll check out the link that was provided.

I could be wrong. No offense intended. It's a good question actually. I'd like to know what problems people have had w/their meds and which ones worked for them too so if I have a weird or good reaction I know that I'm not the only one.
