Sorry should have been clearer, how does a mood swing affect you, in what way and what are your prominent types of swings .

I usually have bellcurve like depressive episodes. Something triggers me--like that Stephen Fry documentary-- and I go down down down bottom and suffer from ideation, insomnia, hypersomnia, dullness, inability to concentrate, confusion, I lose time (sort of catatonic at times), cry spells, loss/increased appetite, gain/lose weight, sleep and sleep and sleep during the day.

Mixed, Ideation, racing mind, but not motivated to do anything. Drastically increased anxiety and irritability. insomnia, hypersomnia, crying spells, loss of weight, loss of appetite, forgetful

Mania, Racing mind, cant sleep, no need for sleep, want to start everything but dont have the patience to finish anything. exercise until I puke, water the plants at 3am, iron all my clothes already hanging up, destroy my room, anxiety, irritability, spending sprees, reckless behavior/sex, inability to comply with societal norms, creative, energetic, funny, talk to fast, talk to much.

I'm afraid if I mentally recall right now how a mood swing goes, I'll have to re-experience the emotions and it may be triggering. I'm having an okay day so far, so I'm going to give you a rain check on this one. Suffice it to say, it's traumatic and out of control and sometimes there's an obvious trigger and other times it comes out of no where and I feel like a moral reprobate for feeling the ugly feelings I feel and thinking the thoughts I think. I've just started keeping the mood tracker, so I'm looking for a pattern as I've not noticed one yet.
