Right now I'm in the irritable mood. Just saying the wrong thing can set me off.

Like today at lunch my Grandma said something about liking the onion straws at the place we were at (Ruby Tuesdays) and I commented to her don't you remember you got indigestion last time you had them? She said oh no onions don't give me problems and I replied but you said you had problems because of the grease on them. She countered with something and I could feel myself ready to go postal on her and just said well fine order them if you want to. She isn't supposed to have fried food anyway due to her cholestrol levels. I don't know why I put myself through Sunday dinner with her knowing that I will be grumpy all day but it is expected of me to go so I do. At least mom usually sits by me and is able to tell when my level of frustration is about to bubble over and changes the subject but she wasn't there yet when the onion straw thing came up.

I am just mad at the whole world lately and am ready for a mood swing.

If it weren't for Lithobid and Rozerum I would be like that all the time. Those two little pills have saved many lives!!! LOL

I called my pdoc's office today and spoke with the nurse there and she asked me to just hang on because my pdoc will be back seeing patients soon. My regular pdoc has been in Iraq as he is in the Guards in Texas and had to go over again. I guess this made is 3rd tour. I am glad to hear he is back and will be seeing patients soon. But the nurse said she would talk to the person that has been taking his place.

I have a gma like that too. I just try to ignore her bad behavior. Haha. It's hard sometimes. My dad used to be like that too, but he's starting to get better. Took enough health scares already, but a little better.

My dad was like that too and still is sometimes but after having cancer and then a heart attack I think he realized life is too short to be that way. Don't get me wrong he isn't sitting around making daisy chains but he is getting better.

Yeah, his side of the family has a history of heart disease and stroke so I don't know why he'd want to eat that way. He's had major heart attacks, open heart surgery, and now he's close to diabetes. Yikes. Maybe why I became vegan in 2004. That and the cute critters. Gave in to vegetarianism in 2007 and here I am. I come out low on every test of everything and am proud of it. Low cholesterol, blood pressure, etc. Just high on craziness.

Ok I seriously need to get a grip.

Today my car ran out of gas as I had expected it would and had it all planned out that I would meet my dad him give me my gas money and all would be well. Well my low fuel light had come on and I hadn't tested it to see how long I could drive with the light on so anyway I had met my dad and left to do his thing which was right around the corner from where I was. I hadn't even left my parking spot and ran out of gas. So I called my mom to see if she could go get the gas can out of the garage and bring me some gas. She said no sorry can't do it I'm supposed to have my legs elevated and then I heard her typing. She was on the computer with her legs down and she said oh I'm going to go to this and this and then go put my legs up. I about went through the roof. If she can do all these things she is doing with her legs down then why can't she just come give me some gas then go home and put her legs up? She had gone to the doctor the other day and he told her that her phlebitis is back and she is just to sit with her legs up but she does everything but and if something she doesn't want to comes up then it's oh the doctor told me I'm supposed to put my legs up. I understand she has health issues and can't do somethings but why is it that they only seem to come up when she doesn't want to do something?

It all worked out in the end though because my Aunt was in the area and came and got me and then my dad got done with his appointment sooner than he thought and was right behind us so I hopped in his truck and we jury-rigged a gas can and I was able to go get me the much needed gas.

I just feel bad because I kind of called my mom out on the carpet today because I said you can be on the computer and scrapbook without putting up your legs but something simple as bring me a gallon of gas you have to put your legs up. I kind of blew up at her.
