So it happened.
And I had him assure me several times that he wasn't going to run because I was crazy or freak out because I took my Lithium at the restaurant. SO he took me to FABULOUS sushi. Everything went swimmingly. I was drugged so I ate like a six year old, but said some pretty endearing things. (Well, I must've because he's on his way back over to make out! HA!)
We talked about both being some kind of sick and family. It felt normal and fabulous. I don't think I've ever been in a relationship with someone who wasn't denying they were batshit crazy or otherwise.
We came back to my place to wait the hour and a half until the movie started. Of course, I had had my pills and crashed for three hours while he played with my hair and watched movies on my computer. HOW EFFING SWEET. Then, my computer died and he had to go. I walked him out and he complimented me and kissed me. It was lovely.
So is this what a normal date is like? As this progresses, we shall see.

Sounds perfect. He's treating you right so far. How wonderful.

Still awake? I'm sparkly...that's for starlite's benefit. Seriously wide awake since 2:45. Head is humming like a fluorescent bulb.

How you doin'?

Sounds like you had a good time. I had a first date not too long ago to the fair. We walked and talked and it was lovely too. He hasn't ran away either. Kinda hoping he doesn't. He even spent the night when I felt I cldnt be alone for my own safety. And he was a real gentleman through the whole evening.

Sounds like things are going well so far, I hope it continues!

I lived through the next step of this social experiment, that is, the Bipolar Marriage.

Not recommended.

I'm there with you been three weeks of good times but I think I'm getting annoyed. Ltl things that shldnt bother me are. The fixasble things that haven't been fixed yet are driving me insane. I don't know if mine will last. Good luck with yours

Kudos to you for finding someone who respects you despite your illness. I was dumped by my SO after my second hospitalization. This is both a blessing and a curse, you really learn who is by your side and why.
