i saw my pdoc today, well it would now be yesterday. anyways after a good talk about where i want to be and where i was. we decided to try Zoloft with my lamictal. a decision not taken lightly by either of us. my question is for anyone who went manic on Zoloft. how long and how much?
i took my first dose today 25mg ( i'm starting slow) and I've already gone from 9 hrs of restless sleep a night to 1.5 hrs tonight and feeling dam good and alert. i'll try to get some sleep latter. until then i'm left pondering how many pills does it take to get to a manic episode....the world may never know. now what did i do with my tootsie pop

I was on the zoloft/lamictal combo and had no manic episodes but I was not able to tolerate zoloft (nor another truck load of antidepressants). Maybe you were psyched up for a mania??
Good luck.

Never been on Zoloft but I feel for you on the sleepless/little sleep thing. For me, 6 hours is awesome, but 3-5 more frequent.

I've been at this for 6 weeks. Certainly don't let it go that long. Try anyway.
