So I am for sure on the upside. I was on ad for one week and now I've got so much energy. Its bed time but I'm not really tired. Gonna try and sleep anyway took some benedryl to help. See if it works. It did help last night but I got up in the middle of the night and took more so who knows. I've also been saying things that I normally wldnt say. I have no filter right now. No I have this wild crazy thoughts in my head running around wanting to get out. I've done so much cleaning today. My apt looks pretty nice. Tomorrow brings a new day. Let's see if I can sleep and make it a decent day.
Thanks for this!

So glad you aren't depressed! Be careful though. You don't want to get too UP. Then you come crashing down.
You might have triggered mania if your taking an SSRI.
Even though it may feel great, you should probably let your pdoc know if you are hypomanic or manic.

Enjoy being UP!

First nite I took benedryl and slept a ltl woke up in the middle of the night and took more benedryl. Then last night I took ativan and benedryl. I think I slept ok still got up early and bright eyed and bushy tailed at that. Allready ran all my errands. Don't have anything else planned to do so I'm roaming arounf my apt trying to decide how to keep myself busy. I have things I cld do but those don't seem fun. I want to have fun. I want something that uses energy. Trying to calm my mind is gonna stink so why try. I have many things I can do I just don't know if I can decide right now. Too much going on in my head right now.

I know. It's weird that they don't seem to mind about the racing thoughts, but I guess if the meds are making us "up" they aren't concerned. I'm glad you're accomplishing things though, even though it is so hard to choose! I did some altering of one of my hats that took 45 mins or more. I also completed a study where I compared pictures of myself to an actress. It was cool. I started it yesterday or day before y. I also have had tons of ideas for what to do. I started writing something yesterday but I can't finish it because it's true and the end is unknown. I realize I should make it up, but I'm not sure how I want it to end.

I just did 3 or more things before I realized I hadn't finished this reply.

You know how it is.

I've compared a photo of me to different actresses. It's fun. I actually got my husband an audition for a commercial because I compared his photo to Richard Dreyfus and they were looking for a look alike.

I don't think p-docs are concerned about us being on the upside unless we become dangerous or lose touch with reality in a big way, but definitley keep them in the loop so they can monitor you. My T-doc is excellent because he is really compassionate about everything I have gone through and takes all of my concerns very seriously.

The big problem is that by the time that they notice there's a problem, it's already out of control! Have a good time, Bridgie, but just keep trying to get that sleep and watch out for cranking yourself up further. It does beat the blues, though, eh?
