hey all
I was just got out of a week long IP stay. I ODed on my meds and wound up in the ER and then ICU and then the pysch ward. It just feels very odd being out. any ideas with adjusting back into the real world again?

I went to a partial program to adjust to the world after my first inpatient stay. After my second, I started seeing my T twice each week.

I am still recovering. It takes a long time, so don't rush yourself into anything.

Welcome back.

Glad you are still with us. Posting was a good idea to help you transition. I went through what you did last summer. Started hanging out here more. Word of caution though...it can be addicting though.

Does the hospital have an aftercare program where you can go back for group therapy a couple of times a week during the evenings? OR, can you enroll in a outpatient day program? Check with your doctor and insurance on this. If you have free days you might think about doing some volunteer work, too.

Welcome back. Glad you are still with us. I bet you feel like you might be better off being back in the hospital...don't listen to those feelings. You gotta stick around, you are one of the only other users I know with schizoaffective.....
