Does anyone else get like a minor migraine or sharp shooting pains in their head before going from mania/hypomania to a severe depressed episode?

I dunno if I do or not honestly. I probably should be a little more aware of that kind of thing. I could see that being very possible. Being hypertensive, which is normal for mania and hypo-mania, can cause head aches. It's good you have indicators to what is happening though. Gives you insight in what to look for when it comes to your cycle and that gives you lead time to watch for possible medicine changes and such.

I get a lot of headaches, but I haven't noticed a pattern when I am switching. I do get more when I am depressed than other times, though.

I have days of headaches before deep depression hits- so I can see it coming but feel helpless to stop it ~like a train - it doesn't stop just because I hit the brakes - it stops when the momentum behind it drains away

I definitely get this awful pain right in the middle of my forehead. It's like an intense pressure. I always furl my brow from it and the rest is down hill from there.
