I am leaving my job soon. I will be comming back from a 2 month medical leave. In that time, through a lot of therapy, I realized it's not something good for my health. It's stressful and my supervisor doesn't understand my illness at all. She actually said she expects me back at 110%. My decision to leave the job doesn't bother me, but the lack of money does. I don't want to ask my parents for money, even though they would give to me, I alsodon't think my fiance and I can make it on his salary alone. So, what do I do? How do I get money? What kind of job would be willing to hire someone part time who may need time off for treatment sometimes? I worked my but off in school to get a B.A. in Psychology and now I'm looking at work I could have done without earning a degree. I guess I'm a little angree to.

I'd be angry also. Have you checked into the local teen shelters? That would be a good place to start. Or group homes? Perhaps a behavioral center at a local hospital. You could get a job as a tech. I am positive that you'll find a place that will work out for you!! pat

Thanks for the ideas and support. I think I'm going to look into getting help from the local voc. rehab. place. I've heard they can help in getting jobs willing to work around the illness.
