My diagnosis mya not include bipolar... I am so confused. I have a doctor in a partial program telling me she isn't convinced. I have to start again with my new meds person on May 18 and do a thorough history.

The words "paranoid schizophrenia" were tossed around, but she isn't convinced of that either. The only thing that is clear to her is ADHD.

I am confused, but I am feeling well at the moment, so I am just going to enjoy it.

It sounds like you're doing better than your poor, confused doctor :-) Glad you feel well at the moment.

BNLsMOM! Good luck with your new meds person. I know it's been said a million times before, but even if they can't quite figure out how to catagorize what's going on, if they can figure out how to help it, that is the most important...

I know you can't diagnose, but can you elaborate on what your thoughts are on this?

My diagnosis is schizoaffective and it seems a lot of your symptoms resemble mine. Hallucinations, delusions, and mania. I have paranoia, but don't remember if you do too. It's just my observation/opinion. Please note that I am not a doctor, so I'm sure there is more to your diagnosis than what I'm seeing. I'm just going on what you've been posting over the last few months. Talk to your pdoc and ask him/her what they think.
Thanks for this!

Oh boy, do I have paranoia.

In fact, it is one of my most pervasive and prominent symptoms.

Yes, I will be talking to my new p-nurse in a couple of weeks. i don't want to suggest any diagnosis. I just want to start from scratch.

Sounds like you have a good plan to start from scratch when you go in to see your new p-nurse in a couple of weeks. Just be upfront with everything you've been experiencing and thinking. Don't leave things out. Make a list. Write things down so you are reminded to talk about those things. Because of time constraints, I bring a list when I see my pdoc, and my journal for when I see my T. Maybe this could work for you too?

Good luck with your appointment with your new p-nurse.
Thanks for this!
