Gosh - need to pose this questions to others:
Do you sometimes wake up with major anxiety in the morning? A beating heart and major adrenalin running through you? You know you need to just get up and get your mind focussed on something else.
A few hours into your day you feel totally drained, as the adrenalin rush has tired you out.
I'm really battling with this today.
And I did get enough sleep (It was a bit interrupted, but substantial).

What kind of episode are you usually going through when this happens? Is taking a Benzo the only option?

I have had a very active mind the last 2 or so days - Just racing thoughts, but so fast that I cannot do anything productive with them. Not sure what episode I'm in, as I'm not depressed, but not overly energetic or over-the-top.

Just a little confused right now...

Yes, there are times when I have woke up that way. It doesn't happen very often but it does happen. I always blamed it on something I was dreaming about.

Many times I cannot either, but when I wake up in that state I know there must have been a trigger in the dream.

Thanks Skully. I'm feeling utterly drained today. And my whole body just feels like a live-wire. Think I need to take one of my benzo's to get thro this day

I wake up very anxious sometimes too, sugahorse. *Think* it's more when on the depressed end of things, but I've not actually charted it to be sure. It's no fun.
This morning I woke up in the bad part of a dream. Ugh. Been having lots of very strange dreams lately, don't know why.

I notice that I have strange dreams when I'm irritated or starting to feel depressed. On the outside I seem ok but inside its craziness. I keep waking up confused&upset lately&it pisses me off. But I try2remain positive even tho its hard.
Hopefully things will be better4us all&we can feel better&not have crazy dreams. Wonder why a lot of BPD ppl have bad dreams.

Oops hit reply accidentally. Sometimes I wake up anxious&then I usually end up having a panic attack that day. My thoughts race most of the time&I can't shut it off. Sometimes it keeps me up@night cuz the thoughts won't quit coming. Its like having a million thought bubbles all around me but there are so many&they keep popping up b4I have the chance2read them all.

Some nights I do have a serious amount of dreams - my mind won't relax. Not necessarily bad dreams, but still.

And at other times I have really absurd dreams.

Took a sleeping tab last night and managed to get a full nights' sleep
