Hi All, I was in the hospital again for ten days getting meds adjusted again. I am back now and I am feeling better, but still fragile.

Welcome back!
![]() Please be kind to yourself during these days of feeling fragile. Don't put too much on your plate if you feel you need to take things slowly. I'm glad the medication has helped you to feel better. ![]() |

I wondered if you had gone to the hospital. I'm glad you're back and safe. It sucks to go in, but it's better to get treatment than to let things spiral out of control. So happy you're back. Take good care of yourself. Don't put any unnecessary pressure on yourself until you feel totally well.

I'm so glad you made that decision. Welcome back. The meds will take a while to help you, so just be patient and keep checking in with us.
You've made a hard, but responsible decision, and I'm proud of you! (((HUGS))) |

How do you know when your meds need to be changed? I'm thinking mine does because I've been feeling depressed and anxious more often than I use to. I'm having a really hard time now with crying and not being able to stop.

Always a blessing to hear when someone is feeling better. Welcome back and may the good feelings continue.
((((((Amanda)))))) Perhaps you should talk with your doctor about how you are feeling. A med adjustment or something else may be in order but until you share with your doctor you are alone trying to sort it out. Hope you feel better soon. |

Welcome back BNLsMOM! Glad to hear you are feeling better since you had your meds adjusted. I second in that you to be kind to yourself when you're feeling fragile and to take things slowly if you're feeling overwhelmed. Mucho hugs.

Been there many, many times and coming home is always a contradicting feeling. Good luck with your new meds, what are you taking ?
I still havent found any I tolerate or help in the last 4 yrs and I have been on all the usual meds and MAOI, calcium channel blockers, clozaril. Sometimes I think the disappointment of hopefulness of something helping is worse then the bipolar. I hope they work for you :-)) |

I too am so glad that you went to hospital and have been proactive about this step in recovery. I have had med changes that I had to manage at home all alone and I have also had med changes in hospital as recently as November. While a psych hospitals or psych wards can be a challenging and difficult as there are many sick people there and the psych nurse quality can vary, I have still found it the best place to be during a med change. At least you get given your meds at the same times during the day and you don't have to worry about it, you get your meals prepared so you don't have to worry about it and the psych nurses are there to look after you. Good on you. I hope you continue to progress.
