Have you perhaps thought of getting a different Doc?
No use having a pdoc that won't listen to you...

I hope you will find the encouragement and support you need here.

I agree that you might need to find a different doc. I have had to do that before....it's hard to search, but once you find someone, the relief is great. I hope you get some relief soon!

Currently in the same boat. What does your pdoc say when you tell him that you don't think it's working so great? Oh and WELCOME by the way!

unfortunately some doctors don't listen or don't understand enough about the condition and the drugs they are using. it is there deficit not yours. If you can get a 2nd opinion it would be great.
The mood altering response to Topomax is increadibly variable and does not work in a lot of people.

Welcome! This is such a great site to be on! I agree with everyone else. I would find another pdoc. They get paid to listen to us. If you don't feel that the meds you are on are working for you, then they aren't. Hang in there!
