Life is just too much. I cannot keep up with my work, everything is just triggering. From colleagues taking the mickey, to managers being unreasonable, to the general vibe being stressful...
I just don't know what to do. It's all becoming too much. I'm spinning out and don't know how to keep myself grounded. Still coming to work, feeling like a zombie and all I want to do is break into tears again

You really should take a few days to regroup, I've discovered that sometimes, all I need is timeout to make the spinning stop...
Why not take 2 or 3 days emergency leave, or get your pdoc to book you off ( you can decide what goes on your certificate)... Please think about it ![]()

Well, I have a meeting in 30 minutes (Has been postponed for the 2nd time already) to see if they will move me to a department that offers me more job satisfaction and all me to feel like I actually am something. I'd actually said to my boyfriend that I wanted to take today off to regroup. But I wasn't going to sit at home on my own. Will wait for a day when my bf also has off and we can do something together - i need company around me

Good luck with the change of position. I agree being around people can be a necessity when we're not feeling 100%. Is there somewhere you can go while your bf is at work like out for coffee, window shopping etc.?

Window shopping and going for coffee on my own is not a good idea - I need a friend or someone around.
Looks like I will be moving positions - the crappy mail was not discussed this time round. I'll prob be planning for Flooring (Vinyl tiles) and Home Decor. A bit of a different type of job, hey. So the buyer decides what to buy at what price, and I have to order, and allocate stock to the various stores. (Our version of "Walmart" has +- 100 stores). So it will be exciting! I feel better already knowing that there's a change in the pipeline

![]() I'm sorry you are feeling so stressed. I agree with previous posters - taking a few days off seems like it would be very beneficial. Also, in response to your most recent post - I'm glad you are feeling better due to this position change. ![]() |

Sorry I just now read this! I haven't been on as much the past 2 weeks dealing with some family issues... I digress. I am glad you got to change positions. Maybe a change will keep your mind stimulated and you will find some satisfaction from work?? I hope so.
Good luck.

I hope this change is what I needed. Boredom, lack of stimulation, no motivation... these are triggers for me in one way or another...
Thanks for your support. This morning I was really bad, but managed to pick the pieces up as the day went on
