Well, it's been a rough few weeks for me. I went off my mood stabilizers, had a frightening manic episode with psychotic features, and now I'm sinking into a depression. Today I almost took a handful of klonopin just because I don't want to be awake (not because I want to die). At the urging of some online friends, and at the behest of my psychiatrist, I'll be going to the hospital tonight.

I'll be out of touch for a few days, but I'm hoping that they can get me sorted out quickly. Depression combined with impulsivity is a bad combination and I'm not entirely safe.

Thanks everyone for your support. I look forward to rejoining you soon.

Good for you for taking your well being into consideration. I know going to the hospital is not always a wanted option, but I am glad you are taking the necessary steps to be well. Hoping swift recovery for you and will look forward to hearing from you when you get back.

Hope that once you get stabilized again, you won't go off your mood stabilizers in the future. High price to pay for not taking a med that helps. Know it's hard when you're feeling good to think that you need the meds, but they are what keeps you feeling good.

Glad you went into the hospital where they can get you back on the right track.

Take care of yourself

I know you won't see it until you come home,

but good luck and I hope things go well at the hospital.

I hope the hospital brings you the relief and stability you so dearly seek (Don't we all!) please check in as soon as you're back.
Congrats on making that decision - I'm sure it was NOT easy (((HUGS)))
