Hi everyone-I finally had my appointment today for my meds . I am hopeful that this will be the beginning of my road to some normalcy after decades of depression and crazy behavior. I have been caring for my 81 yr.old mother who has Dementia for the last 2 years . I think that the added stress of that is what finally drove me to get some counseling and stop wasting time taking Wellbutrin. from my GP which was doing nothing for me
I was given a patient titration kit of Lamictal ODT and a Rx for Risperidone for anxiety.
Today has been rough so far with depression and anxiety so I hope that I start to feel better.

Hope it all goes smoothly, roxiesmom..One thing I noticed when I started the Lamictal (and my sister forewarned me about it) was some nasty headaches. My Rx was upped 50mg a day last week, and I've had a couple of the headaches..hope that helps

How long have you been taking your new meds? It takes a while for them to start working. I'm on lamictal as well, and it's been working pretty well although I did have to go up a little on my dose a couple weeks ago. Everyone's different so you never know... If lamictal doesn't work you can always try something else.

I'm sorry you're feeling bad, that's no fun but hopefully your meds will start working out soon

Good luck!!
