I just started a social group for BPers called BP Social Society, invitation only.

I did this because some of our threads are being moved to more appropriate forums, and I (for one) find it very difficult to keep up when there are so many others posting.

Also, because we had a small group of us working together on diet/exercise and were checking in daily...now it's in the health forum and the whole purpose will be defeated if a whole lot of people join in.

So, I have no idea how the invitation only works - I'm assuming you go to the group and join and then I guess I have to okay it.

Hope I don't end up being the only member!

PT52, invite only means that YOU have to send out the invitations to who you want in the group. You might be better off making it a moderated group which people click a tab to join and then you approve it.

Man, I should have done this in high school...I would've been popular!

I was doing my volunteer stuff, get back home and you all are chomping at the bit! The cake looks delicious.

So everyone's in that asked, need to get more! Plus now we can start threads...but first I have ducks to feed and dogs to play with.

Pt52,
I'm extremely new here & looking to find people to connect with. I'm not diagnosed BP but BPD with a handful of others. Many cross-over symptoms. If you'd be willing to give a girl a chance i'd like to join if even on a probationary period. I understand the whole trust thing. And where it might be an issue. I have a very difficult time trusting ppl but trying very hard to let my guard down here & feel free to just be me. Figured no harm in asking worst you can say is no.
If it helps... I make a killer cheesecake LOL
