I don't understand it but when I drink caffeine it drops me into a deep, irritable depression with severe fatigue and it takes all day to come out of it. This happens with two cups of coffee. I wonder if anyone else experiences this with caffeine? I'm going to have to stay away from caffeine, I hate it because I love coffee.

squireray; I haven't had that experience from caffeine. Perhaps you could switch to decaf coffee, so you can still enjoy a cup of coffee.

I've never noticed that happening. Are you sure it's that caffeine in coffee (in other words do you take it black or add sugar and creme - either one of which could also be responsible for a downturn in mood). Sugar and milk products are some of the most common latent allergies and latent allergies can cause depression. I just wanted to make sure you knew that so you can keep an eye out. I hope you figure out what's causing this.
