a rat dying of shock - ahahahaha! Was it an electrical shock? I had a hamster I had to bury...
My chameleon has run away, the domestic worker left the front door open, and he walked out...

WOOOHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1
I just won a $140 pair of shoes off ebay for $72! Brand new in box. I have to have a certain shoe to run in and my running shoes have holes in them. But they are so expensive I can't afford to buy them in the stores. So I got them off ebay for a really good price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Skully, I'm sure bloody shadow laughed his head off, he's a naughty one...

Suga: The domestic was careless, I have a few chameleons in our garden, I wonder if it would survive a trip to Durbs, not that yours could be replaced, but ya know...

I can buy another chameleon here, but he'll never be replaced. The gardener in the complex found him, and put him in the garden. I cannot find him in a single bush on our verandah - how would you expect me to find him in a whole garden!?!?
He was so cute, small and with a real character.

Lol @ the rat story!

Sorry, but that sounds so funny. Chameleon dragster! LOL.
Suga, I hope he's a happy colour changer.
I had a cockatiel who found liberty. His mate (who stuck around) is now a lot more withdrawn.

My chameleon spent most of his time between 2 pot plants rather than in a terrarium. When he started molting, he went walk-abouts in our apartment about 3 times. Up the curtain, towards the kitchen, around the living area... he'd go missing for a day or 2 at a time. I then decided to lock him in his terrarium while he was molting. It took a LONG time. When I thought he was just about done (Only his little head to go), I left him in his pot plants - that was his escape opportunity. He's only a little guy - 15cm including tail!
