Hey there,
Finally after seeing my present pdoc for 5 yrs, he looked over my history with that he has, and the pdoc before him, and agreed to help me with the ADD issue, which was my 2nd DX, see I have 2 since 2000, Bipolar-II(mild) and ADD (mild) not mild to me over the 40+yrs, sooooooooooo finally it clicked with him, that is my problem, he hasn't had any calls about any bipolar episodes with me (maybe formers mis DXed?)and the ADD (lifelong) has been my major problem, duh? I knew that already, ha!ha! Long story short, I FINALLY have gotten the attention, and without any actions or words that would threaten someone to say something. Yay!! Well, enough of my ramblings, gang. But I wanted to share this with those here, I thank you for listening.This breakthrough, is worth my celebration and sharing with y'all  Sincerely, DE Never give up hope.

Isn't it nice to have a compitent (sp) pcdoc for a change , it' s good do know your abby-normal huh? LOL

Glad you are addressing the ADD problem. I have had it my whole life. I am a senior now and I still have it. My Pdoc will not let me try the Straterra. My brother is on Straterra and it has made a world of difference to him. I wish Doctors were more caring. Mine, IMHO is cold and indifferent. I cannot go to a different Pdoc as it is considered taboo at the place where I get my therapy...etc. Thanks for listening. Good luck with your health. ~Dottie
