|
I just took 6 15 mg tablets of Abilify by accident. I thought it was my Topamax. I only take 15mg of Abilify. So, I took 90mg. accidentally. Is that a really high dose does anyone know? Do I need to worry? Help. My husband is pissed cuz I'm always confusing things.

first of all, why would you take 6 topamax? and second, if you are concerned, call Poison Control at 1-800-222-1222

I take the 25 mg pills of Topamax. They are very small pills which is why I confused them with Abilify. The pdoc just increased the dosage to 250mg, and i am finishing off the 25mg. pills that I have on hand. So, I take 4 in the a.m. and 6 in the p.m.
My husband called, and I didn't take too much Abilify , which I figured was the case. He's just a worry wart. |

oh okay. well still, if you get concerned, you can always call the poison control. take it easy for a while, and take care.

Yes, thanks, I'm OK. I am very tired today, but other than that, fine. I am actually doing better than previous days. I am aot calmer. In the beginning of the week, all I thought about was hurting myself. Those thoughts are gone now. Just went off Prozac (pdoc knows), but maybe going off it around the holidays wasn't such a good idea.

By the way, just wanted to make mention, even though I said I wanted to hurt myself, it was totally by accident that I took those extra abilify. I know that the few extra I took wasn't anything to seriously hurt me.

I put all my meds into a dispensor for each morning and afternoon of the week and then I don't get them mixed up or forget any.... then I also can remember to take vitamins and fish oil etc... otherwise it doesn't seem worth the trouble of getting them out when I'm in a hurry...

Abilify and Lexapro are both small white pills. These medications should have different colors!!!
