Hey guys. I am so completly hypomanic now. Doc took me off Seroquel to see if we could get rid of the depression I was in for so long. Guess it worked. Now I'm bouncing off the walls!!!! Weeeee.
Anyway, so far, I'm managing it, just trying to burn off the excess energy. Just got done cleaning my carpet. Itold my T how I am feeling and he said to monitor it closely. I see pdoc Monday. I don't want to go back on Seroquel though. This feels amazing, especially after so much depression for so long. I wish this could last forever. I know it won't, but I wish it would. I've been singing and dancing and cleaning. Stuff I have not done for months. I even cleaned the fish tank, which is no small task, last night at 9 p.m. LOLOL. Anyway, I know this is hypomania and not just a good mood, in case you were wondering, which you probably were not wondering but just in case you were. This is the longest post I've ever written. I should stop now. Byeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee. ![]() |

So while you're burning all that energy, can you do my carpets, too?

Oh god I know exactly what you meen. I'm a rapid cycler though. I've been swinging between hypomania and depression during the past fortnight. I feel pretty normal at the moment but there's absolutely no guarantee that it will last. You don't need help with the carpets do you? lol

I've been hypomanic for nearly 3 weeks now; since Wellbutrin was added. I cannot fall asleep at night. I can be a nightmare to others, as I do also tend to bounce. Not sure if I like it, but it sure beats the depression!

I have been bit (hypo)manicky too lately. I just need to work on coming off slowly and not crashing. I wish i was able to manage that phase much better.

When do you know the end is near, and you are going to start coming down?

I can feel when the body is slowing down and I see when the thought patterns change and become slower. Than I just "zen" and meditate a lot. I did yoga since I was about 7 years old... so I can separate "soul" from body and thoughts at any given time. I try to keep myself in check at most times. But at some stages I am just more sensitive and vulnerable.
(side note: Data Masala tea was not such a good idea probably ![]()
