For me burning off the excess energy helps. I exercise. Yoga can help as well. I will also watch I eat and drink i.e. no caffeine, processed foods etc. Going to a movie (depending on the movie) helps me too.

It always helps me to read my credit card statement ..Seriously, tho, bubble bath, herbal tea, a glass of wine, meditation..whatever floats your boat.

Sleeping tablets to get a good nights sleep - every night till mood stabilises. Then no caffine and only moderate exercise (no adrenaline junkie stunts) I stay away from shopping centres and other places with lots of noise.... an no matter what happens - don't start analysing DNA sequences!!!!!! (seriously scary )
If I'm not already on abilify, I add that in too...

For me, exercise helps. Or I play simple games on the computer - e.g. Chuzzles or Bejewelled
LOL
