Sorry it took so long for me to respond. I'd say with any rash, you're likely to be done with lamictal for good. Did they think lamictal caused it or was it the virus? If it's the lamictal or even if it's inconclusive, then I would think most docs would never prescribe lamictal for you again.

My side effects were mainly psychological: irritability, anxiety, and general emotional instability. Also, I had insomnia for at least 6 months and I may even still have it. I take drugs to sleep now. It's also possible that it induced hypomania when I first started taking it. Because I felt f'ing awesome.

Doc wants everything to clear up first, then im going to go get blood work done then take it from there. I hate being on one drug then another one to counter act it, thats just stupid.

Part of me wants to try another med to see how I react and other parts want to say fu*k it. Im also on probation and she "wants" me on something or its "irresponsible in her eyes" She even suggested that she was going to give me another place to go to, after I explained all my doc did for me as for caring she changed her mind completely. I swear some people can be stupid. She doesn't even have a right to do that.

Some docs said virus, others said lamictal. My guess is 100% the lamictal. It was at tthe 2 week mark when it was supposed to be kicking in, everything happened. It was a virus, it was the lamictal. Stupid a*s, s**t
