I started to go outside a little while ago to get something from the garage. Standing right there in my driveway was a large dog who looked as surprised as I was to be seeing each other. His hackles were up, so I closed my door and went back inside.
Until a few minutes ago, I thought that I really saw the dog, but I have lived here for two years and have never seen that dog or ever seen a dog off a leash. It is true that he may be a stray who got out of his yard or something, but the thing that bothers me is that I can't trust that I saw the dog. It looked like an older version of the puppy we got a month ago (which has added stress and joyto my life) I went immediately to the front door to see if I could see the dog leaving or walking around the property, but there is no sign of it. I am afraid to take my dogs out because they are little and I don't know what this strange dog might be like. So, for anyone who hallucinates, is it as real and as 3d as the rest of the world around you? |

It's been a freaky day all around. I went into the garage earlier (before the dog showed up) and I used the side door to get in. When I got in, the big overhead door went up all by itself. I know it was probably because of me opening the side door, but I was thinking about the time when I was a kid when I was afraid to go under the overhead door and I was banging on the side door that was stuck. I missed the wood and my arm went through the window and I needed stitches in my wrist. Right as I was thinking about that today, the overhead dor went up on its own.... freaky. Also, the people who lived here before us left a doberman statue in the garage and we've just left it there. I had forgotten about it, but after the door lifting, my eyes fell on the doberman and I was startled again. What kind of messages is the universe trying to send me today? |

My hallucinations are just as real as things that happen. Honestly I just accept that anything I think might be a hallucination is until it's proven otherwise. By labeling it that I'm taking away the power - I'm not scared that there's music playing (when there's not) I just sing/hum along. Then it's not scary anymore and if the thing turns out to be real I deal with it then. Also I noticed when I did that I stopped hallucinating as often. Just my 2 cents worth.
