Hello everyone!!

I thought I would share my excitement this morning - it's been 12 hours since I took my first dose of Epilim (SV) and I haven't had a reaction!!! This is very rare for me, I'm very sensitive to meds, and it is only a 200mg dose for a start...
But I think I can safely say I will probably be able to tolerate this, even in a higher dose, quite happily!!

Now I just need to be patient until it starts working....Waiting with renewed hope

Wow-thats great! I was on Epilim and unfortunately it didn't help me much. I was on a very low dose. But for you it sounds like any meds that you don't have a bad reaction to, are a great step forward.
Hoping the Epilim works for you!

Fingers crossed for you... I remember the sense of immense relief when I finally found something that worked.

That is great news, SadRobot. I hope it does good thing for you.
I've been on Epilim for quite a while now. I was rapid cycling with several switches a day when I started it, and I'm down to a week long high every 2 weeks now. Not sure if it is the Epilim working or just the disasterous response to Prozac working its way out of my system.

Oh, sorry to hear about the prozac Tsunamisurfer. I had to be on antipsychotics for quite a while after taking prozac just for a few days last year! Terrible drug. Glad you're doing better and I hope that Epilim is and will be working for both of us!!
And I am relieved to see that someone else switches so many times as well - the doctor was surprised about switching overnight and she seems not to be able to let go of the possibility of a personality disorder underlying bipolar - which makes no sense to me whatsoever!! Anyway, she has seen me only twice so she doesn't really know me...

Ohhh...You said cycle of SI and I just had no idea what it could be..I had never seen it referred to as SI before (never been outside this forum). Really good thing Epilim helped you with that as well
