I havent had any medication since thursday and have become very very short tempered. Could 3 days without medication really have any effect on me? I was too late getting to the pharmacy on friday so have to wait until tomorrow, so the last time I took my seroquel was thursday night. Feeling really

It usually depends on what the medicine is and what the half life of it is. A lot of stuff for BP has a short half life though, so 3 days can do it.

Years ago, when I was using nothing but St John's wort, if I got irritable and short tempered, my wife would ask me if I had had my pill. Almost every time her suspicions were correct. And that was missing only 1 day on something that is considered relatively mild.

Seroquel kicks like a mule. If you were depending on it, I have no doubt you would feel when its missing.

I've had serious withdrawals from SSRI's, so I truly believe it can be the Seroquel. Hope you get your script soon and can be back on track

I've had withdrawal symptoms on seroquel and I missed the dose only two days. It took me nearly a week to feel fully back on track but I was fine after that

Thanks all, today is day 4 but my husband is on his way to pick my meds up for me. I have had the worst weekend, and I am guessing this is hugely down to not having my meds. I have other big stresses at the moment so I guess that coupled with no meds, is a recipe for a bad weekend Anyway, I feel more stable today...on the edge but sitting stable. My head was in a bad place yesterday and really just feel burned out

Thanks all.
