actions

whatever

today, i find out that someone didn't do something at work yesterday despite me handing it over to 3 people and we're gonna get charged because we did it late and i get told "well it's not my problem" by the guy who's on today. he wont even email me to explain to me why it was late and had the gall to tell me that "I should have managed it better". well, what the f*&^ am i meant to do when i'm not there? (We all work shifts, 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, i'm off til tomorrow day shift).

i feel so angry and annoyed.

My T calls it "sensitive" and no matter what meds I'm on or how stable I am, I always seem to have stronger reactions to things than most people.

This whole bipolar thing started because of my rage. My violent reactions. I went to my Dr. and she decided I was depressed and she put me on Zoloft. It worked! I took it for 3 or 4 years and am now on Cymbalta. If i do not take my meds, the rage returns. I get pissed about really little things. Now into this stage of my disease, when I am manic, I get really irritated and snap if stuff doesnt go my way, people dont act how I expect or whatever. People mainly piss me off lol. But yes I can relate to the outbursts. I try to keep a hold on them, I try to pray quickly and breathe and think of something good when I am about to snap at someone for nothing. Ulghh.. Good luck hon. <3

It sounds like a normal reaction that anyone would have to a situation you are being held responsible for when you were not responsible. From your description, you didn't
"act out" when it happened and were reasonable.

I'm generally fiery. The Wellbutrin has stabilised me a bit too much, and I now feel numb. I don't explode that much, but I do occasionally and then it's not pretty...

I am a little more sensitive, especially with my bf. I take everything personally

You are right! If I were in your situation, and was accused of not handling a situation correctly, I'd be livid! I do get very passionate over things; especially when I feel that I am right, and the other person got it wrong (and in your situation, what transpired with you would totally set me off!).

my boss actually bought this up today in a way. said that i'd been reacting "negatively" lately and he wondered if something was wrong.

so, him going "run 3 filters" and me going "How? We have no beer" is now not an acceptable answer.

i cant win and it doesn't help that i dont even think something is wrong with me! What if it's not me and it's everyone else?

My reaction is getting extremely upset and crying. I get angry at almost EVERYTHING and my immediate reaction is to cry. I cry no matter if im angry, sad, embarrassed, happy, scared, anxious. Usually I am angry within seconds of things happening and my eyes full up with tears. I recognize later that these reactions are not right, but when they happen, nothing makes me feel better.

wow this sounds just like me! Yesterday evening, a coworker was talking about how he had been at work since 6 a.m. and I jokingly said "Quit complaining". I was actually in an o.k. mood this day and he said "Whatever, you would be *****ing if you were at work all day. You are always *****ing about something.. Well actually you seem ok now".. I immediatly got angry at him for saying this and said "I am trying to work on my attitude but its people like you who make me angry." I felt the rage coming on and had to walk away before I started crying.

i'm at breaking point with work right now.

can't seem to win

can't work out whether it's me or everyone else but i'm leaning to it being ME that's changed which can only mean a mood shift right?

and i'm seeing spiders quite a lot and they aren't there

lotusflames! Sorry you are having such a rough go of it right now...
I have problems with lightening-speed rage. Much less often since proper medication, fortunately. More often comes serious irritability, which I've been having quite a bit of lately. Suppose it's better than rages(!), but still... Might well be a mood shift. I've been pondering the same question, lotusflames.

Be sure to let your doctor know about the spiders. It must be very disconcerting.
