Has anyone experienced this? I have been dealing with a bored restless type feeling while on Abilify. It is sometimes stronger than other. We just increased the dose and it makes me feel like I have to take my klonopin which I don't like to do a lot.

I never thought of it as I side effect of medicine to be bored and restless. I suffer the same thing and it does get so bad that I have to take a klonpin at times to. Although I do not take abilify, but I am on two different anti-depressants. I get to where I feel like I have to be doing something, but nothing appeals to me. So I'm not sure if this is normal or a side effect or just possibly being bipolar.

I just started but I don't think I have great side effects. In less then 24 hours I've had dreams where I've gotten in fights and the second one was even more violent than the first. The dreams felt really weird. It makes me tired at first, but when I want to sleep I can't, so I take a small dose of seroquel so I can. I feel sluggish and 'drunk' like. My pdoc wants me to stay on it for another half week to see how the effects are and if I get used to it. As much as I like my mind to stop racing, I don't know if its worth it.

It did take me a couple of weeks to adjust but then I felt like it was pretty good except for this boredom thing. It may get better for you.

That's good to know. I'll try to give it a month before asking for a change then. (Since its so expensive x_X) That's if I still have many side effects.

I didn't have those side effects but I did have cognitive clouding and memory loss.
