I am cycling again. Not sure if my visit from my mother has affected my mood or if it is just the bipolar. Yesterday I was so hopeful and accomplishing a lot and now I am depressed and fed up with life. I am currently on zyprexa and had to come off effexor because I have no insurance and couldn't afford it. Started on Celexa a couple of days again. So I am not sure if that could be part of the problem. I can't afford to have my mood drop again. I see the dr again on tuesday so I guess by then I will be able to figure out the reason for the change. Thanks for listening to me ramble.

If you have changed meds, expect your moods to cycle while your body adjusts.
Change in routine can also trigger us. I don't know your meds personally, but I do know that starting an SSRI can take up to 6 weeks until you feel the full effect. In the meantime, be kind to yourself, surround yourself with understanding people and keep to a routine |

The med changes can definitely have an effect too - especially if you stopped taking the Effexor cold turkey. hang in there - it's tuesday. |

its probably the effexor withdrawals. it the worst. Ive been off of it 8 months now and still having moodswings and headache. Hang in there once the other med kick in you will be fine. Goodluck.
Effexor works great though its just expensive. If you can find away to pay for it stick to it if it works for you. ![]() |

I saw the doctor today. He increased the dose on the celexa. Was going to increase the zyprexa but I have already had to much weight gain from it. We applied for assistance with medications and maybe then I can go back to effexor because I do think that It works better for me. Anyway, thanks for all the advice and support. It feels good to come somewhere that I am understood.
