I'm trying to get on with my special study. I know the material, I have done plenty of research and my brain just CANNOT be forced enough to write it all out properly. I've been trying...I've finished all the other essays which also lack the clarity my work usually has, now I have this left and my brain just feels very hot all the time, very numb, as if it really really wants to be left alone....But my mind is also a perfectionist and this paradox...this paradox I can't handle. Tell me it's ok to right a mediocre essay and not let it affect my psychology in general....Because that's why I want to make it work so badly...Because if I don't I'll feel like a failure and that's just ridiculous....

the fact that you are going to write at all already surpasses a mediocre paper. It will be a wonderful paper. You will do fine.

Sadrobot,
Don't be so hard on yourself. You've done the preparation. Just sit down and write what comes to mind. Don't worry about perfection because neither you or anyone else will ever reach that level. Just do your best...I'm sure that will be more than enough. ![]() |

It doesn't have to be perfect. Just start writing, your thoughts will crystalise as you write and you can come back to it later and make it better. The hardest part is starting. I totally understand how hard it is with a brain fog. You can do it. Be kind to youself and give yourself plenty of breaks.
Now I'd better get back to the paper I'm meant to be writing!!!!

Maybe your consecrating to hard on it, step back from it for awhile and take a breather, don't be so hard on yourself, and you will do fine. Some times we all just get so wound up in something and put to much effort into it and get over whelmed...YOU CAN DO IT
