I heard from a friend that a 7 second hug released some kind of endorphins that make us feel good.
![]() So I was thinking what about if we could use this to help with depression. So the challenge is to talk with your partner, family member or friend and explain how these 7 second hugs give us endorphins that could help with depression and then try to hug for 7 sec at least once every day. I know its a bit of a crazy idea, but please if you try it let me know how it goes.... ![]()

I like to practice day long hugs, but rarely find the time. Or have I moved into cuddle territory?

Only 7 seconds?
![]() The endorphins can't hurt either! ![]() I've not found them particularly useful against depression (sorry to report), but hope they do for others. Though I must say it shows a great deal of fortitude ![]() |

![]() I guess I'm not expecting miracles but will take every little bit of help I can find to stay stable... I'm even trying to exercise (more endorphines!!!!)

I need a lot of hugs and most evenings relax on the couch with my bf watching TV and cuddling. I also sometimes stop him out the blue to hug me. It gives me a Warm fuzzy feeling and a sense of belonging; not being alone
