I have been hanging out in chat lately, but I just got home after my first inpatient stay. I couldn't stop fantasizing about sui and I wasn't eating, I was throwing up from the anxiety/depression.

Apparently my affect was so flat my friend almost drug me to the hospital herself, which she did end up doing after my meds person called to check on me.

Seroquel, klonopin, and lithium are my friends now. If you are interested in the story about how I led a revolt against a bad therapist just ask hehehe. I also managed off unit privileges to get real coffee. At one point the charge nurse asked me to use my leadership skills for the powers of good not evil.....LOL

Anyway if I could get some hugs I would appreciate it. Parts of the stay were very scary and I need to be able to share if someone will listen.

Amazonmom. I'm glad your friend took you to the hospital. In-patient can be a scary, interesting, and at times funny place.

Amazonmom!!! Sounds like an interesting time indeed! Feel free (of course!) to share the scary parts if you are ready and so inclined.

Haha on the good not evil!

Welcome home, mom! Of course we will help you decompress after the upheaval the hospital brings! Post here, PM me or a private chat...I'm here for you as you can see others are, as well.
Thanks for this!

Hi! I am also just out of the hospital (a week ago), and it was quite scary for me, too. Feel free to share whatever you would like with me; maybe we can exchange stories? I am new to this site, so I am not quite sure how it works, but I look forward to getting to know you.
Also, cycling can be that fast? It can be daily cycles? I have not actually been diagnosed yet, and the more I learn the more about me and my life makes sense. (I have an appt with a psychiatrist soon so he will evaluate me.)
Thanks for this!

I would be glad to listen. It's good to see you back.

Welcome back!! I always found the hospital stays to be a mixed emotions kind of place. My last time was a long weekend right before Mother's Day last year. Honestly, depending on the hospital it can be either a positive outcome or you'll never want to be there again. I'd love to hear some of your stories ... did you befriend anyone there?
Thanks for this!
