Thanks Everyone HUGS taking it truly one day and one step at a time , I have a lot more to do than just get my Co. ID I have to find where Social Services is and hopefully get some health care insurance. Was told I might be eligible for food stamps too. The buses are overwhelming to me but i will tackle it in time.

TY for that, it really was a good day, today was too, what is hard for me is th\e fact that I battled untreated mental illness from sixteen to 23 and I survived it, got help in my twenties went to college twice, got two college degrees held responsible positions in medical secretary field along with 2 hard jobs in the Mental Health Field with addicts, severely mentally ill peoiple and homeless people, I also spent 3 years getting certificate in Benefits advisement from Cornell University and advising consumers all that time too. I volunteered at a Crisis Hotline for 9 months around sept 11 when all that happened and I also volunteered at a group home for troubled teenage girls, now im' 39 on disability for bipolar and panic with agoraphobia along with depression and ocd and I rely on public transportation and a rep payee has to manage my money, well not really but social security would not release my money until I brought in a payee to set up an account for me , and i do NEED a payee mainly because I spent so much money and abused credit cards for so many years when I was untreated and overdrew 3 banks in Buffalo OOOPS and I can't get a bank account in COlorado either until that is straight. IT is very hard to deal such a loss of independence I am SO GRATEFUL that I can and do manage my own apartment and the freedom that allows me. SOrry for venting and ty for responding and listening
HUGZ.
