Hi, I've been poking my head around this forum for a while now and I don't think I've introduced myself, but if I had I don't remember so I'll do it again. I'm 29, diagnosed bipolar type 1 for about 11 years now, along with other disorders that I have been diagnosed with as well. I really admire all the support and advice you guys give in this forum. I got divorced about 3 years ago and have 3 children. I've been a member of PC for almost 4 years now but only started posting in the past couple weeks.
Right now I'm currently depressed, finally went to see my T last week and my pdoc on Monday. He really wanted to put me in the hospital because within the past couple weeks I have gone off some of my meds, (which I hardly ever do), had a suicide attempt, just basically doing everything wrong. He wanted me to do more ECT's, I was actually supposed to do one today, and one on Friday, but I have pneumonia and can't do them now, which I'm kinda glad. I don't like doing them all that much. Sorry I got kinda off topic, I just have so much going on right now I could probably post a whole story but I won't! I hope everyone is well, and I look forward to posting and both giving and receiving advice. Thanks for listening ![]() |

Hi quicksilver, I'm new here too.
Sorry to hear you having a rough go. Hopefully you'll get that all sorted soon. And get over the pneumonia quickly as well. I also have bp and some other issues. I am divorced with three kids as well. It's all alot to have on your plate, a lot of added pressure and stresses right? See you around the boards. |
