Hi, I've been poking my head around this forum for a while now and I don't think I've introduced myself, but if I had I don't remember so I'll do it again. I'm 29, diagnosed bipolar type 1 for about 11 years now, along with other disorders that I have been diagnosed with as well. I really admire all the support and advice you guys give in this forum. I got divorced about 3 years ago and have 3 children. I've been a member of PC for almost 4 years now but only started posting in the past couple weeks.

Right now I'm currently depressed, finally went to see my T last week and my pdoc on Monday. He really wanted to put me in the hospital because within the past couple weeks I have gone off some of my meds, (which I hardly ever do), had a suicide attempt, just basically doing everything wrong. He wanted me to do more ECT's, I was actually supposed to do one today, and one on Friday, but I have pneumonia and can't do them now, which I'm kinda glad. I don't like doing them all that much.

Sorry I got kinda off topic, I just have so much going on right now I could probably post a whole story but I won't! I hope everyone is well, and I look forward to posting and both giving and receiving advice. Thanks for listening

Hi quicksilver, I'm new here too.
Sorry to hear you having a rough go. Hopefully you'll get that all sorted soon. And get over the pneumonia quickly as well.
I also have bp and some other issues. I am divorced with three kids as well. It's all alot to have on your plate, a lot of added pressure and stresses right?
See you around the boards.
Thanks for this!

attentionThis is an old thread. You probably should not post your reply to it, as the original poster is unlikely to see it.
