ok im havin a really off day.... i got out of bed... on top of my moods shifting like crazy im havin issues from trading from being a cutter to purgin and calorie restricting... today however i didnt do any of that but i rode on a bike 4 miles and want to do it again... my mood is low as can be and im want to dip into what i normally do.... posted above... does anyone else out there with bipolar have this issue? i am feeling very alone right now and just want to disappear.

Bulimia and anorexia are not symptom of bipolar. You need to discuss this with your pdoc and tdoc.

yea i have the same problem with food. i spend about a week stuffn my face constintly eating even when im nt hungry because ppl used to say i was to skinny. always eating to put on weight nt because i needed food. then i wudn't b able to eat for days after it because i sickend my self with food. it isnt a sympton of bipolar but is it a comfort thing for you?

not a comfort thing... i gave up cutting... and now im turning to this... im in therapy... and she wants to see me today... i cant make it so i am tryin to get her to talk to me through email

That's weird. I have exactly the same problem. I am bipolar, I used to cut and now I have problems with eating. I wondered at first whether I'm developing an eating disorder, but when I told my pdoc he said it's because of my personality disorder (oh yeah I have BPD as well) and I'm just playing about with things. You should definitely tell your psychiatrist or therapist.
