On Saturday I was on the road for four hours, went to a major sports event, big community event and met up with relatives. Enjoyed it all thoroughly.
The next day I was sore all over, had no energy or ambition for anything and did absolutely nothing. Sort of like a recovery day. When I was working full time I noticed a similar pattern. I would rest up on weekend, and be thoroughly prepared for Monday. Monday would go well, but Tuesday I felt deathly exhausted and ill. Can anyone here do two good days in a row? |

not 2 big days in a row but 2 good days are possible. Just need to conserve some energy for the 2nd day. It's when I start going a bit high - not even hypomanic, just a bit higher than normal at the time - that I really feel it the next day.
A good sleep and some relaxation before bed helps....

I guess it's fine when you are 'stable', but when depression hits, I really battle and drag myself through every day

Same here. Weekends are my big days cause my family always has a lot to do. I usually have to take Monday, and sometimes Tuesday to get my bearings again. It defiantly lasts longer when I'm depressed.
