In your experience have new meds equaled new clothes?

I've been on Zyprexa for less than a month and have gained almost 10 pounds (a lot on my little figure!), so I've been stealing my sister's clothes, and finally went out today and bought new clothes of my own. While it's nice to get new clothes, it's not so nice to be getting them for this reason. I feel so fat

Yes yes yes. 15 lbs in a month on my what was 95 lb frame is a lot, I was already feeling a bit big. Nothing fits. I have not bought new clothes, hoping for a miracle. Sweats for now and I hate sweats except for at home. I don't know anyone my size to borrow off of.

Zyprexa is sure doing a fabulous job at meeting my dietitians goals tho. Feel very fat tho and frumpy. Feel heavy to lug myself around.

I went up from twelve stone to sixteen pounds ten when I first went on anti psychotics. I'm now fifteen stone, but its' still blumming irritating... I was always a big strong woman, but never a fat one! I really hope I can come of this stuff one day.

I'm used to being thin...and this much weight gain makes me feel not at all thin.

I fortunately haven't had this problem, but then again my meds are generally considered weight-neutral; Wellbutrin and Lamictin

OH Yeh! I go on Zyprexa in the winter and am of it in the summer... I have clothes sizes 4-14 in my closet... I feel like a grizzly putting on weight to hibernate!
